Our updated Aubrey Louise Oxford boot offers the same comfort and classic style as the original while giving you more options to the needs of your child. The boot is still constructed with soft, flexible leather and is made without using harsh chemicals. Your little one will enjoy the benefit of unrestricted movement just like the first Oxford boot. This time, you have the option of selecting a soft leather sole for gentle indoor use, or a hard rubber sole to provide the durability needed for active outdoor play.
We recommend that you measure your child's foot against our size chart before purchasing. The inner length should be longer than your child's foot by 0.5 to 1 cm to allow room to grow
We recommend that the sandals’ inner length should be longer than your toddler's foot by 0.5 to 1 cm to allow room to grow
Measure the feet in the afternoon, because they will become wider and longer during the day.
Your child should be standing instead of sitting during measurements, as this also affects the size of the feet. Upon measuring, place the foot on a tape measure and measure it from the heel to the longest toe. The measurement from the heel to the longest toe is your child’s shoe size.
Always measure both feet: differences in length can occur. A difference of 6 mm in length is quite normal, but this corresponds to a whole shoe size and must be taken into consideration when buying!
Always make your shoe purchases according to the longest foot!
All of our shoes are made from genuine leather with a textured, smooth or suede finish. Leather is the perfect material for babies first shoes however it is important that you follow these recommendations to get the most wear from your shoe purchase.
Some of our soft sole shoes have a partial rubber sole which provide grip for those that are starting to walk, please be aware that using them outdoors will cause them to wear quicker as the rubber does not cover the whole sole. We have some models that do not have the rubber sole but are still non slip, these will be best suited to indoor use and some light outdoor wear in dry conditions.
If your shoes accidentally get wet do not place them in direct heat instead pad them out with paper and let them dry naturally.
For little ones that are crawling it is to be expected that leather will scuff and mark if they are worn on rough surfaces.
Do not soak, machine wash or tumble dry your shoes.
